About Moritz

Moritz Corporation was formed in 1994 and has accumulated years of expertise as a designer and manufacturer of aerospace and marine electronics. Moritz has become known for providing customers with "best in class" highly engineered products including solid-state control and protection devices and electronic instrumentation employed in processing, monitoring and controlling vital functions in transportation applications. These functions encompass flight surfaces, engine performance, fuel parameters, battery status, etc., that are monitored and controlled via Moritz in-house designed and manufactured products, which include Integrated Indicator Systems, Data Acquisition Units, Caution / Advisory Panels, Sensor Interface Units, solid state Electronic Circuit Breaker Modules and control switches, switch panels, and the new MorPlexTM and OctoplexTM Multiplexed Control System.

Having provided such products with quality and innovation has led to high customer loyalty and growth, and Moritz Corporation has received recognition for its success. In 2001, Moritz Corporation was honored as the "Fastest Growing Company in the Philadelphia Region", by the Philadelphia Business Journal and the Wharton Small Business Development Center.

In 2004, Carling Technologies, Inc., a private company founded in 1920 and a world leader in the production of switches, circuit protection devices, and power distribution systems, acquired Moritz. As a wholly owned subsidiary, Moritz Aerospace, Inc. will continue to innovatively expand its product lines serving the transportation marketplace. The Multiplexed Control System platform will progressively be enhanced with continually updated software, and anticipated features such as plug-in modem components to interface via phone and internet connections, enabling remote analysis, monitoring and control, and plug-in components to enable wireless RF remote control functions.
