Fuel System
The Moritz Aerospace Fuel System is composed of the following components:

Fuel Conditioning Unit:
The Fuel Conditioning Unit can be configured to accept capacitive or resistive inputs directly from fuel system probes or frequency inputs from other fuel system measuring devices. It converts these signal inputs to a linear voltage output for use with fuel quantity instrumentation.

Fuel Quantity Indicator (2x1 model):
The Fuel Quantity Indicator can be configured to accept either a resistive or voltage input from the aircraft fuel system. This instrument is designed for use with two tank fuel systems.

Fuel Quantity System Probe:
This capacitive fuel probe mounts in the fuel tank for measuring fuel quantity. It is a very reliable, very accurate system that has no moving parts. As the fuel level decreases in the tank, the probe capacitance changes, this capacitance change is sensed by a signal conditioning unit which provides a corresponding linear voltage output to drive the fuel quantity indicator in the cockpit.

Fuel Quantity System Cable Assembly:
This wiring kit is used for connecting capacitive fuel sensors in parallel, if more than one sensor is used in the fuel tank. It also provides interface with fuel quantity instrumentation.

Float switch:
The Float Switch provides a signal output for low fuel level alarm. The low fuel level float provides a switch closure when fuel reaches a pre-determined level in the fuel tank. The switch is rated for 28VDC and can be used to close a circuit for a lamp or other 5 watt device to alert the pilot to a low fuel level condition.
